Garmin Nuvifone A50

Garmin-Asus has announced the official launch window for their latest smart phone named nuvifone A50 with navigation at its core.

The A50 is an Android-powered smartphone that features turn-by-turn direction and other features that Garmin offers on its software apps and stand-alone GPS devices. The A50 also has a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen and an onscreen QWERTY keyboard.

Storage for the A50 is to 4GB of flash with a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Other features include an accelerometer, 3G web surfing, access to the Android market, and a 3MP camera with geotagging and auto-focus. The device will ship in Europe in the first half of 2010 at an undisclosed price.
