Earlier this month, LG introduced its latest cell phone model in the popular Chocolate series, the LG Chocolate Touch, optimized for music, social media and mobile entertainment.

It has a built-in music player powered by the Dolby Mobile technology to enable high sound clarity and rich bass via stereo headphones, or external speakers, while the 1GB of internal storage space allows you to add entire music collections. In case you need more, you have the possibility to expand the memory using a microSD card.

In addition, the handset features a customizable 4-band equalizer with Classical, Treble Boost, Vocal Boost, Bass Boost and Flat modes, built-in FM tuner with RDS and 12 station presets, rhythmic vibrations, visual effects while playing music, and the possibility to choose images to be displayed for specific songs.

Communication enhancements include the Social Network Message Key that allows you to send updates on social networking sites, Mobile Blogging for status updates and sending messages, and Blog Support for posting images and videos to social sites. It also provides voice messaging, group messages, mobile email, HTML web browsing, RSS reader, visual voicemail, instant messaging, and many others.

LG Chocolate Touch can connect via Bluetooth with up to 20 devices and supports Bluetooth-based wireless printing, voice-activated dialing and others, while enabling up to 306 minutes of continuous operating time from a full charge.

Another key feature of LG Chocolate Touch is the built-in camera of 3.2MP with camcorder function, which takes high-resolution photos on the go and records videos at 30 frames per second. It can take three photos in a row for creating panoramic images and provides the Facial Makeover tool that beautifies the facial skin. After taking photos you can edit them right on the handset’s 3-inch full touchscreen display.

The camera has settings encountered in standard digital cameras, such as brightness adjustments, White Balance, Shutter Sound, self-timer and color effects.

The new cell phone from LG packs multiple devices’ functions in a single handset, eliminating the need for carrying several gadgets with you. It seems to be a great alternative to carrying a separate digital camera, FM radio, camcorder, portable media player and even the laptop, because it provides all of these in a 4.30 x 2.20 x 0.47-inch gadget weighing 4.23oz. The general benefit is that it practically simplifies the user’s life.
