SanDisk has introduced two new solid state drive (SSD) available in 60GB and 120GB versions and is capable of opening files at twice the speed of current 7200rpm hard drives says SanDisk.
The SanDisk G3 SSD’s can transfer data with up to 220 MB/sec read speed and up to 120MB/sec write speeds.
The new G3 Solid state drives come with a massive 10 year limited warranty and can withstand shocks and vibrations without affecting its performance.
This new SSD is said to lower power consumption that saves energy and extends battery usage time, and results in cooler operation
The G3 Drives are available for $399 in the 120GB version and $229 for the 60GB storage capacity.
